A gust of chill air, Chromatics really grabs your attention. The vocals of Ruth Radelet against the chill synthesizer and guitar background of the other members combine to form a real groovy “night drive” melody.

Danz, Computer Magic’s lead singer has a voice that is hypnotizing and fluid. Danz and her percussionist Chris Egan create some really nice indie/synth/futurepop/space songs. Here are links to their music on SoundCloud and some YouTube songs:
American-Chilean DJ Nicolas Jaar knows how to produce those creative tunes that you immediately love. A friend described Jaar’s music as sexy Latin house and minimal music; I became hooked. A friend recommended that I read Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman. Since the book appears to be extremely popular, I guess my curiosity is piqued and I will have to give it a read. Perhaps it develops sociobiological concepts introduced by Edward O. Wilson in On Human Nature.
